This week is National Public Service Week. Basically, the Government of Canada is celebrating anyone who works for Canadian Citizens. On Monday there was a fashion show, and today there was a free breakfast for everyone who worked on the 12th floor (my floor). What are the odds that I would get a free writing utensil? Largely in my favour.... I did. It is a beautiful Canada pencil. How else are we supposed to celebrate this momentous week? I just returned from a hotdog lunch outside, where a band was playing, and I received a free waterbottle. I tell you, working for the Government makes me so patriotic. Tomorrow I get to take a Desktop Yoga class. Whooopi!
On a more sullen note, today the Oilers play Caroline, and Carolina has the opportunity to win the Stanley cup. Will we let them? NO WE WON'T! Holla to my boyfriends Jarret and Ethan. You know that I will always love and support you, no matter the outcome of tonights game.
Ciao!

Ashley Young, what would the world be without you? Ahh, you make me laugh.
Well as I knew they would Oilers won last night, and now they might as well leave the cup in Carolina, they don't need to bring it to Edmonton, there is no way that Carolina is winning the cup here. So just leave it in Carolina, until game 7, when it will be presented to the Oilers. Oh and Ashley, you aren't stealing Jarret Stoll from me that easily.
Last night as I was falling asleep, I could hear the sounds of Whyte Ave, horns honking and people cheering, and at that moment I knew that all was well in the city of Edmonton, Oilers had won, avoiding elimination, and restoring all of our hopes of Oilers once again being Stanley Cup Champions.
